“Health”: Putting an end to this violation of international humanitarian law, which carries severe repercussions
Fady Mahouly
The Ministry of Public Health strongly condemned the attack by the Israeli enemy on a Red Cross ambulance in the town of Majdal Zoun in the Tire district, causing two paramedics to be seriously injured, requiring their transport for treatment, and the vehicle being damaged, noting that this attack is the first of its kind against the Red Cross by the Israeli enemy since October 2023.
The Ministry called on international bodies to put an end to this violation of international humanitarian law, which carries extremely serious repercussions and negative effects on the tasks of rescue and ambulance crews, who must enjoy immunity and security in times of conflict in order to be able to perform their humanitarian duty.
